A Message from Pastor Jason
Ignite Family:
2025 was a very special year of ministry for our church. I know that when you are doing things in the name of Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, for the glory of the Father, technically every year is special, but 2025 will, in my opinion, forever be a truly significant year in the history of our church. We believe in the power of the church of Jesus, and we believe it is our responsibility to plant churches here, near, and far. This belief is one of the primary heartbeats of who we are. The community of Wilson has been on my heart for many years, and making the dream of Wilson a reality in 2025 was such an incredible experience.
I want to say such a huge thank you to all of you who are a part of Ignite who have prayed, given, and served to help us birth a beautiful gospel community in Wilson. This thing Jesus has called us to do is really hard, but it is impacting so many people right now. Honestly, whether you live in Greenville, Chocowinity, or Wilson and are a part of Ignite, it is hard sometimes to remember that the really cool things God is doing in your community (because He is doing amazing eternity-shifting things at all our locations) are happening in others. We are a part of a bigger thing that is impacting Eastern NC in ways that transcend any one city.
In 2025, we saw so many people come to Jesus with record-breaking numbers of baptisms in Greenville and Chocowinity. We saw Fuse grow exponentially, and it continually blows my mind to consider the impact we are able to have at East Carolina University. We saw powerful momentum in all of our ministries! While that was happening, a whole new staff team was brought on and trained. A core team for the Wilson plant was created, discipled, and unleashed. Tons of needed equipment was bought, a mobile venue for the new plant was secured, and the first breaths of a newborn church were experienced. 2025 was so special, and I hope this report helps illustrate some of the amazing things Jesus has done while always believing: THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!
