Face to Face | Week 3

What does it really mean to ask God for our daily bread? This message takes us deep into the heart of that single line from the Lord's Prayer and challenges us to reconsider what we think we need versus what we truly need. Drawing from the timeless words of Psalm 23, we explore three transformative shifts in how we approach God's provision: choosing peace over prosperity, seeking God's power within our persecution rather than escape from it, and discovering blessing through our burdens rather than in spite of them.

The shepherd imagery woven throughout Psalm 23 is not just poetic language; it is a raw and honest portrait of how dependent we really are, and how faithfully God leads us when we choose to follow. We are reminded that the green pastures and still waters are gifts of the shepherd's guidance, not rewards for our own navigation. If we find ourselves in the wrong field, it may be worth asking whose voice we have been following.
