The wise men saw what we often miss in the Christmas story - Jesus is the Wonderful Counselor who brings clarity to our confusion, the Mighty God who shelters us from conflict, the Everlasting Father who never leaves us, and the Prince of Peace who soothes our hurting hearts.
This Christmas, let's be like the wise men. Let's see Jesus not as a magic genie who grants wishes, but as the King worthy of our everything. He left the perfection of heaven to walk with you in your mess. That alone is worth celebrating.
