Bring Your Brick | Week 2

This powerful message challenges us to examine what we're building with our lives and who we're truly fighting against. Drawing from Nehemiah 4:17-18, we're reminded that the Israelites rebuilt Jerusalem's wall with a tool in one hand and a weapon in the other, working and defending simultaneously.

This dual posture represents our calling as believers: to build something meaningful while staying alert to spiritual warfare intentionally. The message confronts a crucial truth - we're always building something, whether we realize it or not. Our marriages, families, careers, and spiritual lives are either being constructed with purpose or deteriorating through neglect.

The real enemy isn't the people around us - our spouses, children, coworkers, or neighbors - but the spiritual forces that seek to destroy what God is building through us. When we waste energy fighting the wrong battles, we miss the opportunity to defend what truly matters. This isn't just about personal growth; it's about participating in something bigger than ourselves.

The church isn't a building we attend but a body we belong to, and our active participation transforms everything. The question isn't whether we'll build something with our lives, but whether what we're building will last and honor God.
